Suspended and grid ceilings

Where a space needs regular access to the services above it, an exposed grid and tile ceiling is usually the right answer. They go in fast and they are easy to live with.

Grid and tile systems

We install the main runners and cross tees on hangers from the soffit, level and square to the setting-out, then fit the tiles the specification calls for. Tile type, perimeter trims and shadow gaps are all installed to the specification; they are what make the difference between a tidy ceiling and an average one.

Coordination

Grid ceilings carry light fittings, diffusers, detectors and sprinkler heads. We set out the grid so that the fittings land where the drawings want them, and we work alongside the M&E trades to get the ceiling closed in one visit rather than three.

Where we work

Most of our ceiling work is within South Wales and the West of England. For larger contracts further afield, talk to us; we have travelled for the right job before.

What we need to price it

Reflected ceiling plans, the ceiling specification and a note of any special requirements such as hygienic or high-acoustic zones. For a refurbishment, a site visit is usually quicker than drawings.
